Pamela Slabaugh grew up in a small Amish community in Central Ohio. She spent a lot of her childhood with her grandparents on their farm outside of her home town of Wooster. Pamela learned a lot of the “old” ways of life on the farm from basic animal husbandry to homemade remedies.
Pamela raises Registered American Saanen Dairy Goats. She prides herself in a non GMO herd. She also makes non GMO caramel and cajeta with her dairy goat milk under the name of SUGAR NANNY.
Sandra Stephens is a celebrated artist out of the Atlanta area in the thriving community of Hoschton, Georgia. Sandra received her degree in fine arts from Eastern New Mexico University and from there went to study illustration and design at The Art Center in California. Her award winning paintings have been exhibited in New Mexico, California and Georgia.
Smith and Jones, which is Sandra’s farm name has been involved in breeding premium American Saanen Dairy Goat for over 20 years. Tilly was born on Sandra’s farm and at the age of 9 months went to live with the author and has added joy and laughter to the farm ever since her pedicured hooves hit the barn floor.
